Its over!

Aw! It's over! Two weeks passed by so fast! I loved everything about this camp! I am going to miss everybody sooooooooo much! I will still blog about different programs I made but this is it. The camp is over. Thank you everybody for making this so much fun!

Google Sketchup! And Its almost over.....

I loved Google Sketchup today! It was so fun! My favorite part was creating the house. Although sometimes something would go wrong and you had to fix it, it was still fun. I made my house very colorful and I had a lot of components! I would totally live in some of your houses. They looked so AMAZING!!!! This camp has been really fun. My favorite part was HTML, which I will be presenting tomorrow! Aw! :'( The week is practically over! I do not want it to end. I have had so much fun! See everyone tomorrow!

StarLogo!

So today we used StarLogo! I used this last year at camp and it was really fun. Although we did learn a lot today, there is still so much more you can program the agents to do! You just have to experiment with it. I got 4 out of the five projects on the paper done. It was a little hard to program them to stay away from the water and get them out. Overall today was good. The drag and drop system for these programs are easier than having to type but it still gets a bit frustrating when the blocks don't fit together. Still today was a good day. I can't believe the week is almost over. Can't wait for Google Sketchup tomorrow!;- ) <3

Circuits and lighting!

Okay so today was so much fun! We used copper tape, paper, batteries and light to make some pretty awesome things. For my project I mad to stars in the sky and a cute quote! I had so much fun! For some weird reason I really like copper wire. *_* It was really rough and my finger got caught and cut. :( But it was no biggie at lunch I just went to the bathroom and washed it off. The LED light were really cool! I got lucky and both my lights were white and matched perfectly for my project! My project was working awesome at first but then it just started flickering. It still works just not as good. It even has a switch to turn on the lights! I love this camp you get to do so many awesome and fun things! Can't wait for tomorrow!

PicoCrikets!

I had an awesome weekend! On Saturday I went swimming and yesterday I rode horses! It was so much fun! ^_^ Today we worked with PicoCrikets! It was like programming robots and it was awesome. I loved our project we made for the Carnival. There were so many cool projects. Alina and I made a Dumbo ride with lights and it even spins! Great way to start off the week!

End of the first week!

This week has been so amazing! I LOVED everything about it! We worked on Scratch and made animations and games. We did Design Blocks and programmed created pictures, which is like super cool!Today we worked on HTML, which i s something you use to create websites. In Scratch and Design Blocks you drag and drop nut in HTML you have to type in what you want it to do. I, personally, think that its a bit more fun. It gives you a little more freedom. I edited mine to be super cool and girly so it was like pink and purple and had some pictures on it. I am not quite done yet so I am hoping to finish it sometime next week. Awesome! This week has been fantastic! See you all on Monday! 


OMG! No! We only have one more week left! :( aw! Well I am going to enjoy it! Time passes by so quickly!

I love this camp!: day 4

Today was even better than i said it would be! We used design blocks and its like it makes like an animated painting using programming. It was totally awesome-sauce!!!!!! We made flowers and even picyures that interacted with your mouse! Yay, I loved it! hahahaha! ^.^ I had so much fun! I love programming even though at times it gets really hard sometimes. This camp is awesome and I have made so many new friends! I love it and I hope you all do to! <3

Excited!!!

I have a feeling that today is going to be a super amazing day! I can not wait to see what super fun things we are going to do! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!! ;-) Yay! Today is going to be totally awesome-sauce!!!!!! <3 ^_^

I love programming!

Today was such an amazing day! It was our first day of actually programming! Although it was frustrating at times the end result was amazing. Scratch was a really easy program to use for programming. It was very simple and easy to use! In programing the computer does exactly what you tell it to do which gets very annoying.My friend Alina and I even made our own animation of a dance party. But it was really hard to get the music to work. Overall today was an amazing day! I have no idea how I have the patience to program with such a short temper. Maybe it is because I LOVE this awesome camp!!!! It is so beast!!! I hope you all love it too!

Computer Science and Origami

Today was so much fun and challenging! I learned that computer science has a lot to do with directions and the computer will do exactly what you tell it to do. Amazingly enough origami is just like that. It can be really challenging at times because the directions on how to them are confusing. We did an activity today where you got with a partner one of you closed your eyes and you partner would give you directions on how to fold the paper. It was very challenging and nobody had the same thing! Later on we were working on some origami it was very frustrating because if you fold it wrong and do not realize it, it is very hard to find hard to find where you messed up. Overall the whole day was really fun. Even when we tried to get everybody on the blanket and we all fell over! I had a great day and can't wait for tomorrow! 

Interesting facts about me:I love music. I have a viola. I don not like loud noises or yelling or screaming. I am quite a girly girl. I love One Direction! I love dancing. I love playing sports.I am only 4'11".

What you would probably never guess about me: I love to wear Hollister and skirts. I went through a very rough time last year. I am actually very shy and do not really like to talk. I used to self-harm, I am not proud of it, but I am not ashamed of my scars, they prove that I am strong and I survived. :) I love to help people and give advice. I love seeing people happy! Seeing people smile makes me happy. I do not like to see people sad and I will do whatever I can to make you feel better.

First day of camp!!!

Today my favorite thing about camp was learning about all the different types of variables and loops. I learned so many other thins but those two were my favorites. I've made two really nice friends by the names of Danielle and Christa. They are both really nice and Danielle likes One Direction! I had such a good time! Today was so much fun and I can't wait for tomorrow!
